Pirates on the BBC and the ironic palm tree

Doesn't look like I'll be making the hat-trick on this one but at least two of my three favourites from the Invergordon Fleet Day have now been used, as a variation of the pirates with Spike Man photo is the picture of the day on the BBC News Scotland Highlands & Islands homepage. Both of the local papers had another photographer covering the event so there's nowhere left for the ironic palm tree…
